I just finished reading a good interview with D. Harlan Wilson over at Midnight in Hell. Here’s an excerpt:
“I can’t remember what specifically drew me to fiction writing. No doubt it had something to do with world-building. I’ve always found the real world somewhat boring and anticlimactic. Fiction writing allowed me to create new worlds and immerse myself in them. It still does. I suspect that’s why lots of people get into writing seriously. Especially in the speculative genres.”
