We just received the official letter saying that Eric Miles Williamson will be receiving a PEN Oakland-Josephine Miles Literary Award for 14 Fictional Positions. It's an award that was "created to honor writers of exceptional works often not acknowledged by the mainstream literary community." We’re thrilled to see Williamson’s work recognized in this way and proud to have published his amazing collection.
The 21st Annual PEN Oakland-Josephine Miles National Literary Awards will take place on Saturday, December 10, 2011, at the Oakland Public Library, Rockridge Branch, 5366 College Avenue from 2 to 5 p.m. The ceremony, which will be followed by a reception and book signings, is free and open to the public.
