RDSP is looking for a Blog Reviews Manager (Volunteer/Intern)

This is an unpaid, volunteer position perfect for a student trying to build a resume in public relations or publishing. It would also be an excellent opportunity for an author who wants to develop a good relationship with reviewers.

What we're looking for:

-Someone who can do regular correspondence with reviewers and send out e-review copies

-Must be able to check and respond to email regularly, (once a day 5 times a week or something similar but back up is available for emergencies, vacations, etc.)

-Can devote 3-4 hours a week

-Has familiarity with the blogger book review community or is willing to spend time on the internet becoming familiar with it

-Is willing to search out new blog review sites

The ideal candidate:

-Will be familiar with Facebook and/or Twitter and will be able to use those sites to find and communicate with bloggers

-Has some interest in genre and experimental writing or, at least, an open mind about this type of writing

-Reads ebooks (a plus if you have an actual e-reader like Nook or Kindle)
-Is a self-starter and with excellent organization skills and can keep good records of correspondence, emails and dates sent

-Can write professional emails
