Anyway, although Mike humbly denied being a poet in his acceptance speech I have to say that I think he has had a lot to do with the fact that there is any interest in horror poetry at all. It’s through the persistance of authors like Mike who refuse to give up on poetry just because it isn’t lucrative that keeps dark verse alive.
