Foggy Fugue

I’m making progress with Fugue XXIX but it feels really slow. This one is going to be hardcover and paperback so I’m working on the dust jacket now. I’m always surprised by how much time it takes to create stuff for those extra flaps on a dust jacket. Plus I’m too stubborn to just stick in a box of solid color. I always want the background of the cover image to wrap around seamlessly which requires lots of time cloning in Photoshop. Lately I feel like I’m working in a dense fog. It’s hard to concentrate on any one thing.
