The Horror Writers Association has just announced that Raw Dog Screaming Press will receive the Specialty Press Award for 2018.
From the HWA website: The HWA Specialty Press Award is presented periodically to a specialty publisher whose work has substantially contributed to the horror genre, whose publications display general excellence, and whose dealings with writers have been fair and exemplary.
It’s an honor to have sixteen years of publishing recognized by a respected writer’s association like the HWA. “We are especially pleased to be recognized by the Horror Writers Association because of the value we place on relationships with authors and because we have admired the direction, dedication and growth that the HWA has had in recent years,” says editor Jennifer Barnes.
The award will be presented May 11th during the Bram Stoker Awards ceremony which is part of the HWA’s annual convention, StokerCon. This year it will be held at the Amway Grand in Grand Rapids, MI.
