The Baltimore Book Festival was a great experience. It’s one of the few non-genre events we’ve done and it worked out really well. Our name and book covers made a big impression on people. I don’t know how many people walked by and just had to say, “Raw Dog Screaming Press.” There were plenty of people that didn’t want to get too close but even more who were curious and plenty that were really glad we’d come. I’ll have pictures up from the event soon.
Next year Isabel Burning will be out and Donna is a Baltimore resident so we’ll plan even bigger and better for next time around. We’ll also have Steven Archer’s children’s book which should be big hit. There were tons of things for kids to do. I wish we could have brought Ripley but the car ride would have been too far.
