I heard from John last night and things at the con seem to be going well. He says there’s already as many people there as attended WHC last year and Thursday is usually just a warm-up day. Of course there were lots of minor hiccups, like how they screwed up the reservation at first (we had requested adjoining rooms with EHP for the party) but that’s all settled now. It sounds like the party Friday is going to be great.
John got to show Arnzen the mock-up of the Play Dead grimoire. I wish I could have seen his face! It’s getting a lot of attention at the dealer’s table and I’ll have pics up on the web site sometime after the con is over. Apparently all the merchandise we shipped arrived safe and sound. That’s a relief! I just hope there isn’t much left at the end to have to ship back.
