Yesterday we were lucky enough to meet up with Matt Warner & Deena Warner and Val & Diane (www.reallyscary.com) for dinner. After a frustrating day of wrestling with databases and Amazon.com it was good to get out and get my mind off all these stinkin’ details. It was a great time and funny to find out that we’d all been recently spammed by the same budding novelist.
Plus Matt & Deena brought along a copy of John’s picture in the June issue of Locus Magazine. We didn’t realize it but a pic of John and Vincent Sakowski was included with their coverage of the World Horror Convention. Somehow they managed to spell Sakowski correctly but have Larson as John’s last name, even though his nameplate, with a big “Lawson” is right behind him, in the picture.
