Every year at HorrorFind I’ve seen this person dressed up in this costume; a white dress, white make-up, super long fake silver fingernails etc. Is this a character from a movie? Or did this person just make this up? Hell, maybe they do their grocery shopping in this outfit.
One of Jeremy Shipp’s stories from Sheep and Wolves, “Camp”, is up on Pseudopod. If you haven’t heard of Pseudopod it’s a horror podcast magazine that does an excellent job of presenting short fiction in mp3 format. You can check out Jeremy’s story here: http://pseudopod.org/2009/05/15/pseudopod-142-camp/ It’s extra creepy in stereo!
Been working overtime on pulling The Dream People together. The pieces are all formatted now I’m just waiting for Vincent to send the art. It looks like D. Harlan Wilson will make it to our July 10th reading event at The Neptune Gallery. It will be cool to see him again! We are still car-less….
The Darkness Revealed Daniele Serra’s magnificent representation of the evil smoldering in the darkness of a small town is the perfect match for Andy Deane’s slow burning vampire apocalypse. Coming October 24th • pre-order now All the Darkness in the World will debut at DogCon (free and open to the public) in Philadelphia on…
We are excited to hear that three of our titles have been included on the preliminary ballot for the Bram Stoker Award. Two of our poetry releases, The Apocalyptic Mannequin by Stephanie M. Wytovich and Choking Back the Devil, made the list along with the story collection On the Night Border by James Chambers. Thanks…
One of the things I’ve been working on lately is Matthew Warner’s non-fiction book that we are putting out through Guide Dog Books, Horror Isn’t a 4-Letter Word. It occurred to me that I never posted the awesome cover that Deena Warner designed: I love the way she used the scrabble letters!

what was the name of that book about… a detective? i think the cover has a guy with an eye for a head on it…
It sounds like you’re talking about D.D. Murphry, Secret Policeman.
excellent, yes, that’s the one. i’m putting together an order.
does it make a difference to you guys whether i order through you or through amazon?
We make more (and the authors make more) on direct orders but buying through Amazon is great too so I always tell people to do whatever is most convenient for them. You might want to check out our half-price sale page, though, just in case:

i’ll have to tab up the shipping, since i’m ordering from Afterbirth and Eraserhead, too.
too bad you guys don’t have a central shipping hub. some kind of bizarro nexus. i’d prefer you guys made more money, so i’ll see what i can do.
i wish i’d know there was a hardcover Pseudo-City before i’d bought the paperpack…
