In between projects—it’s a dangerous place for me. This time around I’m extra gun-shy of starting up new projects. I really wore myself out with that last bunch of books and somewhere along the way I’ve lost a lot of my enthusiasm for working with new authors. I’m definitely excited about doing D. Harlan Wilson’s next book and it will be so cool to get Audiovile out to the masses because it’s such a unique project. I’m not sure what’s going to happen with Health Agent because it’s running behind schedule.

I’ve just heard that someone has recommended Red King Black Rook for the Stoker ballot in the short fiction category. I would love for this awesome chapbook to get some wider recognition. Here’s what Steampunk Magazine had to say about the book: "A dark and claustrophobic tale of royalty, family, greed, and war, with the…

The response to the Eyes Everywhere limited edition has been really good so far. It was the #1 seller this week at Shocklines. I’ve been happy to note that people see the limited as a decent deal. Special edition books are always expensive but when people get an RDSP limited I want them to feel…

“…experimental, literate, at times cerebral, and overall well-crafted strangeness.”—Tangent Online Read the full review. This is a REALLY in-depth review. A Couple Cool Requests
ByshaunThe Editor of the standard catalogs for HW Wilson contacted us requesting a few of our books for inclusion in their catalogs. They maintain several databases that libraries use for ordering books and collection development. It’s great that word of our releases is getting out to places like this. We also had a request for…
Eyes Everywhere
ByshaunIt’s official and it’s been announced that we will be releasing Matthew Warner’s novel Eyes Everywhere. John has mostly been handling this project and, to tell the truth, I haven’t even gotten to read the whole manuscript but what I have read so far was very entertaining. I love fiction that is darkly funny and…

I could sure use a little breather (midget appears onstage breathing heavily)
Make sure to take some time for yourself, Jennifer! Getting burned out is the pits — I’m a little b.o. myself right now (from teaching & writing) and am looking forward to a little breather in July … D.
Who let that midget in here?!
I will be dealing with stress of another kind soom…my sister’s wedding. Then we are supposed to go on vacation. I tell ya it is nearly impossible for me to drag myself away from my responsibilities. Intellectually I know that coming back refreshed from a break will make me more efficient, I’ll get more done in less time but it never seems like the right time so I keep putting it off.
