2007 A Writer’s Weekend

March 24 & 25, 2007

This was a small, intimate conference that allowed writers a lot of opportunities to meet with publishers and work on their manuscripts. Writer’s Weekend events are definitely a good investment for those just starting out. RDSP is always interested in supporting new writers and was glad to be involved in much of the programming.

John Edward Lawson discusses how to get short story sales with authors Kate Austin and Susan Sizemore.

Bantam Books editor Josh Pasternak takes a much deserved break. Meeting Josh was one of the highlights of the trip. You’re unlikely to find a nicer editor in all of New York.
