“Wilson’s interstitial comedy style can’t be closely linked to anybody else – which is of course a good thing – but might remind the reader of Douglas Adams for sheer silliness, Easton Ellis for black comedy, and perhaps the laugh-out-loud schizophrenia of shows like Family Guy.”
