I didn’t realize how long it had been since I’d done an entry until Simon Wood wrote to ask if the journal had been moved. Nope, I’ve just had a lot of things on my mind that don’t have to do with RDSP. I’ve tried to make this journal mostly about the press and want to do my best to keep it that way. Of course when you’re running a small company like ours personal stuff can have a big impact on the business.

So, what have I been working on for the past few weeks?
Well, the final layout for Play Dead is pretty much done and we need to start thinking about getting galleys made. I’ve been working with Scott Thomas on editing Westermead and we’ve got most of the kinks out. I’m about a third of the way through Tempting Disaster and have been handing my edits over to John as I go. I’ve arranged for us to pick up some more completed Grimoires and hopefully that project will be finished soon.

John’s been busy with a lot of things too like ordering 100 ISBN’s and working with Jeff Thomas to set up a book signing at a new bookstore that just opened up in his town.

I also sent out copies of Bare Bone #6 to the advertisers and a few places for review.
