We are beyond thrilled to announce that we’ve signed a deal to publish Gwendolyn Kiste‘s short story collection The Haunted Houses She Calls Her Own. “I’ve been a fan of Kiste’s work from the beginning and I couldn’t be happier to finally have a chance to publish a book by her,” says managing editor Jennifer Barnes. This landmark collection is a legacy book that exemplifies Kiste’s impact on modern literatue and in particular the horror genre. The collection includes her Bram Stoker Award winning story “The Eight People Who Murdered Me (Excerpt from Lucy Westenra’s Diary)” as well as several stories that have been previously unpublished. It will be released in Spring 2026.
