Next month we’re actually going on a real vacation, a cruise to Bermuda! I’m looking forward to it but I’m also anxious because I don’t think we’ve been away for this long since we started RDSP. Most years we tried to convince ourselves that going to a convention was a vacation (even though we work 3 times as hard at a convention).

Plus this trip will come right in the middle of our big bunch of releases. I think I’ve got a handle on all the production for the books. I’m ahead of schedule on a lot of releases. But I don’t like the idea of being out of touch. I know there’s internet access on the ship but I also know it’s too expensive for us. I hope none of the authors panic while we’re gone!

  1. I went to Bermuda on a cruise last year, it was ABSOLUTELY awesome. Make sure you have some fish chowder, and chase it down with a nice and tasty dark and stormy! 🙂

If you stop in St George, if you see the unfinished church, that has become one of the center points in the second book I have started writing notes on 🙂

  2. I intend to fill up your voice mail with frantic messages within the first two days. :p

But seriously, have a fantastic time. This is long overdue for you guys.

  3. I remember when you went on that cruise! It’s so cool to be able to drive to the port. We will be docking in St. George and I definitely want to check out the unfinished church.

  4. Thanks! I hope you will follow Donna’s lead and send us lots of frantic, drunken emails.

  5. Ha ha! Well at least you can’t call my cell phone and wake me up early in the morning like I did to you guys when you were on tour and I forgot to calculate the time difference.

  6. Haha! That was fine. Trust me, you are not the only one to do that. My mom, my best friend, our agent, etc… have all done that plenty of times.

    Have fun!

I’ve only been on one cruise like 20 years ago on a semi-small ship. Nowadays they build those things like cities! The economics professor at the Lake Campus just went on a cruise with his family and loved it. You and J-Law and Ripper will too! Remember: you must take a break sometimes, J-Bar … D-Har

  8. Say, for instance, a short woman is carrying a large louis vuitton replica on shoulder or a woman dressing bright is carrying a grey tote. I truly believe few people will thumb up for their selections. It does not mean you will look good even if you buy a quite pricy branded lv watercolor . For the same reason that, you will not look nice unless choosing wisely to make your lv jokes go with clothes, shoes and other accessories.
