We had known for several months that we would be receiving this award, which has been both humbling and exciting and were looking forward to accepting it. The agreement is for a pair of short story collections to be published over the next two years. The first, On the Night Border, is horror themed, features the Bram Stoker-nominated short story “A Song Left Behind in the Aztakea Hills," and will be released later in 2019.
